Common root rot caused by Bipolaris sorokiniana is one of the most important diseases of wheat worldwide. In this research, the effect of some micronutrients, bio-fertilizers, and fungicides including Zinc sulfate, Humic acid, Nitroxin, EM® (containing effective microorganisms), Probiotic (containing Bacillus subtilis), Pars Bacil (containing Bacillus velezensis), Trianum-P (containing Trichoderma harzianum), Bordeaux mixture and Rovral-TS® were evaluated for their ability to reduce disease severity index and improve some growth parameters in Heidari, as susceptible wheat cultivar. The experiments were conducted in a completely randomized design with four replicates and mean values were separated using the least significant difference (LSD) test. Based on the results, all tested treatments significantly reduced disease severity index and promoted some growth parameters compared with the positive (inoculated) control. Humic acid, Rovral-TS® and Trianum-P were among the most effective treatments in reducing disease severity up to 30.8, 31.2 and 32.0 percent, respectively, and Pars Bacil showed the least effect in reducing disease severity . Moreover, significant differences were observed on growth parameters compared to the positive control and appeared with the highest mean values. The application of such micronutrients and bio-fertilizers is recommended in localities where wheat common root rot disease is prevalent.
